Ada wanted to do an extra credit assignment for Science which involved making a video about space. She already had 100%, but felt that she needed to do even better and do the extra credit. She made some alien puppets, with the help of her best cousin, Annika, they wrote a script. I didn't get a picture of Annika, but she and Ada spent all day perfecting and rehearsing their script about space. After about three different tries, we had a finished movie on her tablet. I can't figure out how to get it off of her tablet to put on here, but it was soooo cute. They even enlisted Micah to be the voice of their alien puppets in the background.
That is the kind of playing I like. Using their imaginations instead of sitting in front of a screen. I hope to figure out how to post it.
I'm absolutely sure, I'm not biased in any way, but I think it's awesome. I love to see kids being creative and especially if they are including and encouraging creativity with other family members, and it is certainly a great example to do your very best, even if you already have a 100 percent.
