We had a great Christmas. We didn't go all out on gifts to be opened that day and the kids were very happy still. We have really tried to not make Christmas about all the gifts under the tree, getting things we don't need, or out doing our neighbors and friends with the latest gadget or gizmo. We want to take another trip before Addison leaves on his mission, so what better gift for family than more time together having fun. So, that was our gift to each other. We are going to hit the sun again in March and can't wait. Addison will be leaving before we know it and I want to take in as much time with him as I can.

A little excitement Christmas Eve. Ada made a fort for Santa to put her filled stocking in. She also made a very cute bunny piñata adorned with a santa hat. We later filled the piñata and broke it open at a New Years Eve party. So creative!
