I love my family first and foremost~ they are everything to me. I am grateful to be a mother to three awesome children for sure. Aside from the love and happiness I get from my own family, this is what too makes me happy. I love these kids!!! I have taught for five years now with each year giving me roughly 30 kids to teach. So, I have had an opportunity to teach and love many, many children. I have grown as a person, as mother and as a professional and I am now shifting gears as today was my last day at Mountainside. I will be completing three more courses this summer and then starting in August I will be placed in another Elementary school in the valley to start my student teaching levels. I am looking forward to it, yet I am sad to leave my job with all the friends and children there that I have grown to love so dearly. The principal and a couple of teachers have written me letters of recommendation in hopes that I will have an even better chance of getting hired after my student teaching is complete. I received many letters, notes/cards, gifts from those at school. I feel blessed to have so many great examples and friends that want me to succeed.
My favorite kindergartner~ Ella. She had these flowers sat at my table for me to find when I came into class. It was such a sweet surprise. I just love her. She was and is a great young girl and will be a terrific student all her life.
