Avery participated in his troops Klondike Derby. The snow had melted and it had just started the rainy days. They slept in their own tents and did their best to stay warm at night. Avery said that he was really cold, but as we unpacked when he came home, I asked him why he didn't put on the extra clothes, sock and gloves that I sent with him? He claims that he couldn't find them or didn't know they were there…. That boy!! I guess they learn eventually.
Teaching him some good teamwork skills! Looks like fun.
