Addison raced at Regions on Wednesday. He ran his personal best with a time of 16:19!!! He qualified to go to State as they take the top eight from the team. He was fifth from his team this race. This picture is the varsity team, but their are many, many runners on the JV team. If any of them beat a varsity runners time, they qualify to run at state instead. This was the case for one runner on the varsity.
So, they really need to train hard and take it serious.
The overall winner was a boy from Sky View named Conner who ran
it in like 14:30. He is so fast. He is the 14th fastest in the Nation and is only a junior.
It has been fun to watch Addison run. He has been dedicated and trained faithfully every day. He hopes to do some half marathons with one of his friends and maybe eventually work his way
to doing full marathons. We love you Addison and are proud of you.
