Our kids have been fortunate to all be on their Elementary's Youth Council/Youth 2000. Addison did it for two years at River Heights and then Avery and Ada did it for two years at Mountainside. It is a great group of kids. They are great examples, smart students, kind and responsible leaders in the school and community. It was a wonderful thing to be involved with. They met every Monday after school and took care of the recycling in the classrooms, had a lesson on character and did many service projects. They were in a few parades and they attended a conference at BYU earlier this year as well. It is an honor to be asked to be a part of this great group of kids and we are so proud of our own kids that fall in the line with those with such great character and leadership. Hopefully, this is a sign of who they will be in the future... true leaders for good.
